Spectrum Plastics Group announces that a new web site has been launched, providing one place for customers of its Minneapolis production facility, Connecticut production facility, and its Dynacept and Protogenic prototyping divisions all of the resources they have come to count on from Spectrum Plastics Group.
“It’s of vital importance that our web site conveys this single important message,” said Randy Ahlm, President and CEO of Spectrum Plastics Group. “By putting all of our content under one single domain, we’re sending the message loud and clear to our employees, customers, vendors, prospects, and competitors that Spectrum Plastics Group is truly one company. Our Sales and Estimating teams have done a great job at educating our Customers on an individual basis about the additional services available to them at the other divisions, and it’s exciting to be now providing a web site that supports that key benefit.”
Ahlm continues, “But this transition is more than a new banner and tagline—the new web platform lays the important groundwork for the way we interact with our customers, provide technical information, and will serve as the basis for future ecommerce activities in the future. In a lot of ways we’re just getting started.”
Web site content includes prototyping detail on all of its key rapid prototyping process across both divisions. Injection molding capabilities from all divisions are highlighted logically, from ITAR-compliant defense programs, to implantable medical molding, to clean room packaging and assembly, with the goal of everything being just “two clicks away.”
According to Ahlm, “Before we launched this extensive effort, we went to great lengths to research the best web site possible—we surveyed customers, suppliers, auditors, even regulatory officials, asking them what makes their lives easy when it comes to visiting client web sites.
