Biotech vet Kennedy takes Mascoma executive R & D post

Mascoma Corp. has named former Genzyme Corp. senior VP Stephen Kennedy as executive vice president of research and development of the cellulosic ethanol firm in Lebanon, N.H. In his new role, Kennedy will lead the company's efforts to move its research into commercialization.
