Terra Universal’s SmartDesiccator takes the hassle and expense out of critical low-humidity storage. The easy-access humidity control system lets the user program a low-%RH set point in seconds. Using a quick-response feedback system, the SmartDesiccator continuously monitors the cabinet’s humidity level and automatically activates a dry nitrogen purge to maintain the set point and prevent moisture damage. This smart control system reduces nitrogen expenses by only purging when necessary and also minimizes overpressures that stress cabinet seals. A one-piece, non-outgassing gasket is specially formulated to retain sealing integrity even in extremely low humidity. Cabinets are available in single or multi-chamber models, in stainless steel, acrylic, or static-dissipative PVC.
