Advanced Material Solutions for Medical Device Applications
SABIC’s Innovative Plastics business will exhibit new pioneering materials solutions for today’s leading healthcare device challenges at MD&M West 2012 in Anaheim, Calif., from Feb. 14-16, in booth 1801. The company’s exhibit will underscore its broad and growing portfolio of specialized resins and composites that are helping to provide greater portability, antimicrobial performance and improved aesthetics for today’s high-tech healthcare devices. SABIC will also showcase the versatility of its advanced materials technologies, many of which are backed by a comprehensive healthcare product policy, including the introduction of new thermoplastic foam and fiber solutions for applications where filtration and weight reduction are critical requirements.

The SABIC exhibit will include on-site application development, product and technical experts who will be available to discuss the latest medical device advances and industry trends in miniaturization and ergonomics. Additionally, the company will highlight a number of new potential applications that demonstrate how its innovative healthcare plastics are raising the bar on device design, performance, sustainability, and usability of new medical devices.
