GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Recondo Technology, a leading provider of revenue cycle solutions for the healthcare industry, announced today the general availability of a suite of tools and services to integrate various and disparate hospital systems, applications, software services, and databases. Since many Hospital Information Systems (HIS) were designed and developed decades ago, hospitals have been forced to deploy new technology as "bolt-ons" to HIS applications. Recondo tools and services are designed and created using industry standards and advanced rules-based processing to ensure seamless integration for every system from old HIS to the newest Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.

Currently, more than 300 hospitals have contracted for Recondo software services, and the Recondo Integration Team has deployed integration services with Hospital Information Systems including Epic, Cerner, McKesson, Eclipsys, Meditech, Siemens, and others.

Since so much HIS software was deployed in the 1980s and 1990s, hospital IT staffs have been forced over decades to develop "work-arounds" to match older data types with new standards and expanded, modern data types.
