St. Jude gets Japanese approval for heart device

Medical device maker St. Jude Medical Inc. said Thursday it received Japanese regulatory approval for its Therapy Cool Patch Ablation Catheter, aimed treating irregular heartbeats.
Shares of St. Jude rose 11 cents to $36.50 in morning trading Thursday.
