Medical device manufacturer Boston Scientific Corp. today said that it has launched U.S. and European sales of its Neuroform EZ Stent System, which it describes as a fourth-generation intracranial aneurysm stent system designed for use in conjunction with endovascular coiling to treat wide-necked aneurysms.

The stent system is designed for flexibility and conformability, especially in tortuous brain anatomy, and uses Boston Scientific’s Segmental Expansion technology.

In June the company reported that it had pulled together two deals worth $3 billion combined in loans and credit to replace its existing $1.75 billion revolving credit facility and pay some upcoming notes.
