Inpatient rehabilitation services provider HealthSouth Corp. said Tuesday it is publicly offering $500 million in senior notes.

The company said it plans to use proceeds from the offering of to repay debt. It will sell $250 million in notes due in 2018 and $250 million due in 2022, the company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Citi, Banc of America Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., and Morgan Stanley & Co. are underwriting the offering.
