Solx Inc., the Sudbury maker of a laser treatment for glaucoma, has raised $3.7 million in a new round of equity financing, the company reports in a regulatory filing posted yesterday.

Solx, spun out of Boston University’s photonics lab in 2000, won FDA approval in September 2008 for its medical device, which is designed to reduce intraocular pressure while preserving trabecular tissue.  The company was acquired in 2006 and operates as a subsidiary of Canadian company OccuLogix Inc.
