IPC buys Nevada doctor group for undisclosed sum
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (AP) — IPC The Hospitalist Company Inc. said Thursday it bought the Las Vegas physician group practice Zenith Hospitalists. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
IPC, a physician group practice company, said the deal expands its presence in a Nevada market where it is already well-established. Zenith has an annual volume of about 40,000 patient encounters.
Last month, the North Hollywood, Calif., company also said it bought another Las Vegas doctor group, Muhammad Syed MD PC.
IPC shares climbed 11 cents to $32.71 in midday trading.
