SHENZHEN, China, Nov. 11, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Mindray Medical International Limited (NYSE: MR), a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices worldwide, today announced its participation in the MEDICA 2010 42nd World Forum of Medicine International Trade Fair with Congress, to be held November 17-20, 2010 in Dusseldorf, Germany. More than 135,000 visitors from well over 100 countries are expected to attend this annual event.

Mindray will exhibit more than 50 devices from its three core product segments: patient monitoring & life support products, in-vitro diagnostic products and medical imaging systems. Demonstration units of two major new products in 2010 will be presented, including the V series patient monitoring system and BS-800 chemistry analyzer.

The system architecture allows users to customize, by removal or addition of modules, monitored parameters based on a patient's monitoring need or acuity level.

The BS-800 Modular System combines innovation and high performance into an integrated solution. With an expandable platform, a more complete line of chemistry reagents, as well as calibrators and controls, the new solution package can be tailor-made to customer needs. Innovative features such as coaxial reagent disk, reagent bubble detection, dot light source and water quality monitor, are built in to ensure accuracy, convenience and cost-efficiency.

Mindray will also showcase a demonstration unit of BC-6800, the new generation 5-part hematology system to be launched next year. The BC-6800 is a high level auto hematology ana
