Introduced in late 2009, the Continuum Acetabular System provides surgeons with options to choose the bearing technology that best meets the unique needs of each patient.
The Continuum System leverages the clinical success of a number of Zimmer's technologies. Continuum Shells are made with Zimmer's proprietary Trabecular Metal™ Technology, a porous metal biomaterial with a three dimensional structure and mechanical characteristics similar to those of cancellous bone. The outstanding performance of Trabecular Metal Material is supported by over thirteen years of clinical history and more than 100 peer reviewed publications.
