MASSDEVICE ON CALL — The U.S. House of Representatives last night voted 244-185 to repeal President Barack Obama's landmark healthcare reform measure, and with it the impending 2.3% medical devices sales tax set to take effect Jan. 1, 2013.

The measure may be largely symbolic, as analyst are skeptical that the measure would ever pass muster with the Democrat-led Senate.

The latest House move was the 33rd time in 18 months that conservatives have attempted to spike or scale back the Affordable Care Act, the Huffington Post reported.
