Speaking at the launch function Mr Kenneth Benjamin, executive chairman of Guardsman Group said "We are hoping that very soon this product will be very popular in Jamaica and Guardsman is launching a real mobile health device not a traditional push button like device".

VESAG mHealth watch is designed to track patient vitals, providing preemptive medical care and avoiding emergencies. The medical watch includes tracking features and collects patient parameters such as pulse, EKG, pulse, oxygen saturation, body weight, heart rate and blood pressure. Data is wirelessly transmitted to a web portal for monitoring by a medical call center. The device can be worn as a watch or a pendant and does not confine the wearer's location due to the use of GPS and GSM technologies.

Convenient Ambulance Service is provided for all the subscribers of GMedic Medical Response from Guardsman as part of the service. A dedicated telephone line (876) 929-3299 is created for those who are interested to purchase VESAG Health watch in Jamaica.
