Welch Allyn Enhances Partners in Care Comprehensive Support Program to Decrease Interruptions and Equipment Downtime for Healthcare Providers
Welch Allyn, a leading global provider of frontline medical products and solutions, today announced enhancements to its Partners in Care™ Comprehensive Support Program that will further help decrease interruptions to healthcare providers’ workflows due to equipment downtime. Partners in Care Comprehensive Support Program, designed to be a simple, yet in-depth solution focusing on three tenets—support, education and professional services—for Welch Allyn customers, is a program that helps them manage their Welch Allyn experience from start to finish. Enhancements to Partners in Care now include all-inclusive wired-accessory coverage, full calibration programs and complete cardiology equipment protection for electrocardiograph (ECG) products, spirometry and ambulatory blood pressure monitors.
“Adapting to and providing solutions for the ever-changing needs of healthcare providers is of upmost importance to Welch Allyn,” said Jason DiFraia, Welch Allyn Global Services director. “These new enhancements to the Partners in Care Comprehensive Support Program, will allow us to offer even more flexible service plans with a personal touch, including on-site professional services, clinical and technical staff training and, most importantly, a support model that will meet customers’ needs whether they have in-house staff or rely on Welch Allyn for technical support.”
As part of the enhancements to the comprehensive support program, Welch Allyn expanded accessory protection to include all wired supplementary parts that originally ship with the product. Batteries, ECG cables, SpO2 sensors and cables, power cords and embedded printers and transformers are now included in the accessory protection coverage and customers can claim up to one of each accessory per year on a defective accessory per covered device. Full calibration services are now an available option. Additionally, since many cardiology equipment customers incorporate different combinations of ECG, spirometry and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring devices, Welch Allyn will now offer protection programs covering their bundled systems. Updates to Partners in Care Support Programs provide faster turnaround times, free shipping, software upgrades and more—everything a provider needs to achieve higher service levels and meet goals for cost and lifecycle planning.
“We’re dedicated to making sure our products provide working solutions to all the problems our customers might face in the field,” DiFraia added. “This program offers everything the customer needs to get the most out of their Welch Allyn experience. Whether it be an onsite visit, specialized classroom training or just a quick telephone call, Partners in Care Support Programs put the focus back on the customer—right where it belongs.”
