St. Jude lands Euro win for tiny migraine therapy implant

St. Jude Medical wins CE Mark approval in the European Union for its Eon Mini, the smallest in its line of rechargeable neurostimulators for treating chronic migraine.

St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ) won European regulatory approval for its Eon Mini neurostimulator, which the company calls the smallest rechargeable device for treatment of chronic migraine.
The Eon Mini is a pacemaker-like device that delivers mild electrical pulses to the occipital nerves, located at the back of the head, to help migraine patients who aren't well managed by drugs.
