Neurometrix Inc. (Nasdaq: NURO) has won clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a disposable electrode used with its Sensus pain device, clearing the way for sales of the system. In August, the Waltham company won FDA clearance for the Sensus system itself, which uses transcutaneous electromagnetic nerve stimulation to ease leg pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
