Acacia Subsidiary Enters into Settlement Agreement with Manufacturer of Cochlear Implants

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 24, 2012--Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced today that its Adaptive Sonics LLC subsidiary has entered into a settlement agreement with Cochlear Limited and Cochlear Americas Corporation. The settlement agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
