AEC 2013 free webinar series offers big ergo solutions

NORCROSS, Ga. – Dec. 12, 2012 – The Applied Ergonomics Conference 2013 committee is presenting free webinars to provide training on emerging issues and trends in ergonomics as well as preview the valuable ergo solutions that will be presented at the conference in Dallas, March 18-21, 2013. The next webinar in the series is Participatory Ergonomics: A Path to Sustainable Ergonomics. It will be held Jan. 8, 2013, and feature Peter Budnick, Ph.D., C.P.E., of ErgoWeb®. In his presentation, Budnick will describe how participatory ergonomics infuses ergo principles into work processes, which translates into improved outcomes in employee morale and engagement, productivity, quality, waste reduction, continuous flow, individual responsibility, health and safety gains and more. Learn organizational and practical considerations in implementing and maintaining participatory ergonomics from examples at large and small enterprises from around the world.

Budnick has dedicated much of his nearly 30-year career to growing the reach and influence of ergonomics. He's best known for his role as the leader of ErgoWeb® and its popular community hosted on Ergoweb.com, but he also applies an entrepreneurial spirit and acumen to the business side of ergonomics through his involvement with ErgoWeb®, ErgoAdvocate® and ErgoBuyer®.
