EndoChoice Recognized as One of Georgia's Top Job Creators
EndoChoice, Inc., a platform technology company focused on gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy, is featured in the inaugural ranking of Inc. Magazine's Hire Power Awards recognizing the private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the past three years.
EndoChoice, which has achieved a three-year growth rate of 1,396%, generated a 300% increase in hiring during that time period, placing it among the state's top 10 private business job creators. Inc. has also ranked EndoChoice as #1 in healthcare in the Top 100 Georgia companies.
"Generating jobs, and thereby helping families during one of the most devastating recessions in our country's history, is one of the great rewards of company growth," said Mark Gilreath, EndoChoice Founder and CEO. "We expect this strong growth rate to continue in the years ahead, and plan to substantially increase our workforce during 2013, with a particular emphasis on hiring people with medical device experience in a range of areas including sales, regulatory and manufacturing."
"The top 100 companies on the list have created 73,032 American jobs in the three-year period from 2008 to 2011 -- an amazing feat, given that much of that job growth came during the heart of the recession," explains Inc. Magazine's editor-in-chief Eric Schurenberg. "And it isn't just the big guys that are adding jobs. Companies with less than $50 million in annual revenue make up nearly one-third of the Hire Power list."
The Hire Power Awards will appear in Inc.'s December/January issue, as well as the brand's website, www.inc.com/hire-power.
