Radiation therapy device maker TomoTherapy Inc. said it signed an equipment supply group purchasing deal with Premier Inc.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal, which was announced late Tuesday, gives TomoTherapy greater reach into Premier's not-for-profit hospitals and health centers, the company said. Premier has 2,300 U.S. hospitals and more than 67,000 other health care facilities.
Shares of TomoTherapy rose 16 cents, or 5.3 percent, to $3.17 in afternoon trading. The stock has traded between $2.43 and $4.67 over the last 52 weeks.
