Nolen named InVivo lead director

InVivo Therapeutics Holding Corp. has appointed George Nolen, former Siemens Corp. president and CEO, as lead director of the Cambridge developer of therapeutics for spinal cord injuries.

Nolen, who has served as a member of InVivo’s board of directors for one year, will be responsible for implementing board duties and working as an ex-oficio member of the board committees. InVivo CEO Frank Reynolds will retain his role as chairman of the board.
