StreamVenue Healthcare Connects Endoscopy Technology With Athletic Trainers
DALLAS, June 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- StreamVenue Healthcare [1] has partnered its "plug and play" products and services with Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine to teach, and to better manage post-surgical patient recovery.
StreamVenue's system, StreamingOR, allows athletic trainers, surgeons and physical therapists to view cases and discuss how best to manage post-operative recovery. The system fosters cohesive communication and creates a live classroom for teaching as well.
Orthopedic surgeon Robert Scheinberg, M.D. [2], says capturing live video of his cases using StreamingOR is "an invaluable tool" for teaching athletic trainers, among others.
