Medtronic sues NuVasive – again
Medtronic files a new lawsuit in its long-running efforts to bring down NuVasive's CoRoent spinal implants for patent infringement.

Medtronic [1] (NYSE:MDT [2]) is taking its long-running patent beef with NuVasive Inc. [3] (NSDQ:NUVA [4]) to Indiana with a new lawsuit claiming infringement of spinal implant patents.
Medtronic added a pair of orthopedic device makers to its complaint, claiming that NuVasive's CoRoent spinal implants and Osteocel Plus bone grafts infringed patents owned by Warsaw Orthopedic and Osteotech which were exclusively licensed to Medtronic.
