EMD Millipore buys license for stem cell patents

EMD Millipore has acquired a global, non-exclusive license for a number of patents relating to induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from iPS Academia Japan Inc. (AJ), an affiliate of Kyoto University, for an undisclosed amount.
