Brooks Automation to pay $63M for California biz

Brooks Automation (Nasdaq: BRKS) continues its buying spree with its third acquisition in just over a year. The Chelmsford-based maker of semiconductor technology said Monday it will pay $63 million in cash for Crossing Automation Inc., its third acquisition of a California business since July 2011.
