Metal Fabrication

UAF has added metal fabrication capabilities to manufacture its latest, most sophisticated air filter frames and components. The heart of the department is Strippit® turrent punch presses and brake presses that integrate with automated adhesive dispensing and assembly workstations. SolidWorks CAD/CAM compatibility, utilizing 3-D modeling design software, provides the fabrication system with the exacting specification guidelines and automated machine control necessary to produce components of the highest innovative design and quality. This in-house precision metal fabrication capability means lower costs for complicated air filter units and increased efficiencies for the company.
