Spring Tester

This Spring Tester is designed to test tension and compression springs up to 1,000 lbs. The tester can accept a wide variety of spring sizes up to 17 in. in length and over 8 in. in diameter. It features a large side mounted hand wheel requiring minimal user effort and a rigid 3 in. x 3 in. column. Maximum travel is 4 in. and the travel rate is 0.013 in. per hand wheel revolution. A removable steel loading surface with threaded holes for fixture and grip mounting adds flexibility for many testing requirements and applications, and a solid metal base contains a storage pocket and holes for bench mounting.
