Plastic Bearings

This plastic plain bearing, iglide® R, was designed to replace traditional bronze bearings in many applications. Iglide R is an affordable, maintenance-free alternative to oil-dependent sintered bearings. It, like all iglide plastic bearings, requires no lubrication, is oil-free, and will not corrode. Iglide R is resistant to dirt, dust, and UV rays, as well as quiet and environmentally safe. The bearing is virtually maintenance-free, incurring no additional costs beyond initial purchase price. Most bronze bearings require regular maintenance, which can significantly increase cost over time.
