XYZ-Axis Stages Expanded

MISUMI has announced the availability of over 40 new addistions to its line of XYZ-axis stages for machine builders and other high-precision motion systems. Many of these new stages offer a precise linear ball guide system. developed by company engineers, which creates a gothic arch groove ball guide on both the upper and lower side of the stage body. With two arcs and four ball contact points, a considerably higher rigidity is achievable. The new stages are offered in all axis combinations, with materials of construction including aluminium with black amodizing, brass, or 400 C stainless with electroless nickel plating. Dovetail, linear ball and crossed roller styles are offered, with rack & pinion, feed screw or micrometer head feed mechanisms to allow the optimum combination of precision, durability and value for the application required.
