Secant Medical’s New Branding Effort and Biomedical Textile Development Services Highlighted
Secant Medical exhibited its specialized biomedical textile development services, and launched its aggressive new marketing and branding strategy at MD&M West. Biomedical textiles developed by Secant Medical are used in orthopedic, cardiovascular, tissue-engineered, and neurological devices, in addition to general surgery applications. The company counts many of the world’s leading medical device companies among its customer base.
On display was the company’s established line of services, including samples of various textile structures, as well as Secant Medical’s new logo, branding, and comprehensive marketing materials spotlighting its unique offerings. The new trade show marketing presence follows recent announcements by Secant Medical of new branding, marketing, and business development staff expansions.
According to Karen West, general manager, “We are excited about this official re-launch of Secant Medical to the device community. Clients have valued our engineered biomedical textiles for decades for use in a variety of implantable device types. Thanks to our continuing revenue growth, we are in a unique position to leverage our capabilities through aggressive marketing in key therapeutic areas. The new branding on display at this important show is one more step in our effort to achieve additional market awareness and penetration. Look for us to make more enhancements and staff additions in the near future.”
Secant Medical rolled out several new marketing programs in October 2009 to spur additional business opportunities for its services within the medical device industry, including the new logo and positioning line, a rebranded website, new sales and marketing collateral, and expanded trade media-based advertising and public relations.
