Omron Electronic Components LLC announces the release of a 10
m/s Air Velocity Sensor (D6F-W10A1). The sensor incorporates Omron’s MEMS Mass
Flow Chip and patented Dust Segregation System flow path designs. It also
features an amplified, temperature compensated analog output signal to simplify
the integration process by minimizing additional circuitry requirements. The
D6F-W10A1 was developed for higher velocity applications including laboratory
hoods/clean bench applications where velocities are above the previous maximum
of 4 m/s in this family.
