Compact, 800W AC/DC Power Supplies

The MPU-800S series, available now from MicroPower Direct, provides 800W of output power in a compact U-Channel package. These power supplies feature a universal AC input; active power factor correction; full safety approvals; robust filtering and compact construction.

Standard models operate from a universal input of 90 to 264 VAC, providing tightly regulated single outputs. Outputs are factory set to 12, 24, or 48 VDC, but are available over a range of 2 to 60 VDC (contact the factory). Standard features include filtering to EN 55022 Class B, active power factor correction to EN 61000-3-2 D, peak output power to 900W, and an input/output isolation of 3,000 VAC. All models are protected for over load, over voltage, over temperature and short circuit faults. An optional
N+1 current share feature may be used to connect up to four units.

Signals for Power On (LED), Power Good and Remote On/Off are provided. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPU-800S series is greater than 150 khours. The series is certified to CE and all models are approved to EN 60950.

The MPU-800S family is packaged in a rugged 8 x 4.3 x 2.5 inch case. Other series are available with an end-mount fan or a top mount fan. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C (ambient).
