Test Strip Cutter from Rolls

This application requires cutting diagnostic strips from rolls into individual pieces. The material is loaded onto a cantilevered unwind. After being unwound, the web travels through a dance assembly. The roll feed pushes the material into the knife assembly. The material can be indexed based on either dimensions or a registration mark on the material. The knife assembly shears the material. There is a spring loaded material guide to place the strip onto the conveyor. The entire assembly is mounted on a ½” thick anodized aluminum base plate with the control box mounted perpendicularly to the base plate.

Test Strip Cutter from Sheets

AZCO’S test strip cutter is an automated two step system in which a diagnostic sheet is cut into individual pieces. The sheet is placed onto an in-feed station where it is cut into individual cards. The cutting station has rotary shear cut blades driven by a variable speed motor. The individual cards go over driven rollers which help guide the cards onto a shingled table, and conveyor belts index the cards into the second cutting station where the cards are cut into 6mm strips.

Tubing Cutter

Our bench top tubing cutter is ideal for your tube processing. The tubing is indexed by a dual driver tractor belt system for high accuracy. For easy operator use, the stepper drive is controlled by the color touch screen; simply enter the length and number of pieces. It is ideal for the tubing material to have a diameter of up to 25 mm/1” and a length between 0.25 mm/0.01” to 25 m/999”. All stainless steel covers with a lexan guard include a safety interlock. Blades are disposable and are easy to change without the need for tools. Plugs into a 110 V AC and requires 40 psi compressed air.

Blister Card Cutter

The Blister Card Cutting system allows original format of blister cards to be cut into different sizes. It is simple to use and compact in size. The blisters are loaded into a vertical magazine, and the cards are automatically fed into a shear cutting station. The BCS unit operates at a high-cycle rate and has an extremely fast change-over. The cutting knives are made from D-2 hardened tool steel and can cut blister cards of any size very quickly. This unit cuts the card into strips. The BCR unit – a rotary die cuts the blister card into any configuration or shape required. Radius edges and shaped blister cuts are possible with this unit. Quick rotary die change-over makes this unit easy to use and economical compared to other solutions.
