Non-contact lumen locating technology from TI automates the process of isolating a desired lumen for hole drilling, punching, or skiving in a multi-lumen catheter. The technology is available with TI's Smart Driller™ CL and Smart Puncher™ CL automated hole-making systems. The non-contact proximity sensor, when combined with the company's proprietary circuitry and software, results in a system that senses and positions a specific lumen for hole placement.
