Glan-Taylor and Glan-Laser calcite polarizing beamsplitters separate S-polarized light (extraordinary rays) from P-polarized light (ordinary rays) over wavelengths from 400 to 1700 nm, which makes them an excellent choice for visible and near-IR applications. All models are available with 5 or 10 mm clear apertures. The polarizers offer high-damage-thresholds, and are available uncoated or with broadband antireflection coatings from 350 to 600 nm, or from 600 to 1050 nm, which promise less than 1% reflection from each surface. Glan-Laser Polarizers are also available with a coating that provides less than 0.25% reflection per surface at 1064 nm.
