Using high precision wire EDM processes, surgical tool components are manufactured that answer the need for next generation devices for minimally invasive cosmetic, orthopedic, cardiac, urological, and vascular procedures. With dimensional accuracy to ۪.0005 in., the CNC wire EDM processes provide wide flexibility in creating tightly toleranced part features, yet are fast and cost effective in both small and large quantities. Typical parts pictured show 0.187-in. diameter stainless steel rods and 0.125-in. diameter tubes with swaged tip and cross-holes as small as 0.015 in., and holes with connecting slots and notched areas with specially textured surfaces.
