MDE-37 series modular light detectors with integrated amplifier are designed as an OEM part configured to end-user specifications for UV, visible, or near infrared optical radiation monitoring applications. Including a cosine diffuser input optic, its rugged black anodized aluminum sensor housing with threaded hole for mounting measures only 37 mm diameter x 20 mm high. The sensor can be sealed for waterproof operation as well. Photodiode type, size, and optical filtering are selected according to application and associated min./max. light signal levels.
