Digital AC Servo Drive
Utilizing a DSP based architecture, the ACS300 series of low voltage, all digital, brushless AC servo amplifiers provides software selectable torque, velocity, or position mode operation. Sine wave commutation provides smooth torque at low speeds for demanding motion control requirements found in robotic, direct drive, and linear motor applications. The ACS300 utilizes an AC servo (flux vector) control algorithm that provides higher dynamic response and better noise immunity when compared to older style servo amplifiers that use dual analog inputs, sine wave feedback, and analog multiplication techniques. It provides motor commutation using quadrature encoder feedback and requires only one analog input signal for precise AC sine wave operation.
