Company offers RoHS compliant pressure sensors, transducers, and transmitters when specified. The RoHS Regulations implement the provisions of the European Parliament and Council Directive on the Restrictions of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment [2002/95/EC]. This policy was developed in order to protect human health and the environment, in addition to complementing the Waste Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive [2002/96/EC]. RoHS is commonly referred to as the “lead-free” directive, but it restricts the use of the following six substances: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).
