The Type E33 high life incremental encoder's rotational life has been re-qualified to over 1 million rotations. The E33 boasts rugged construction features including an all metal body, metal threaded bushing, and standard metal shaft. It can also be modified into a concentric configuration, available on a special order basis. The E33 has a proprietary indexing mechanism, creating tactile feedback that is evident even through gloves. This is a critical design consideration for applications such as mobile radios and medical instruments where the user may need to operate a panel control without looking at the selection indicator. The E33 can be ordered with or without an integrated push button, and various shaft, indexing schemes, and mounting options are also available.
