The P6050 pressure sensor is a low-profile, surface-mount device that is compatible with standard PCB assembly methods. The sensor incorporates a piezo-resistive sensing technology that allows for a miniature package design and flexible pressure ranges. The sensor requires a 5.0 VDC power supply and is available with a standard analog linear amplified output of 0.5 to 4.5 VDC proportional to pressure. System designers can select a standard voltage output device or alternative digital SPI output. When selecting the digital output, system designers eliminate components due to the embedded 10-bit analog to digital converter. This option saves space, component cost, and may reduce power consumption, as well as overall design complexity.
