Adhesive Designed for Foam Bonding
Mon, 01/12/2009 - 12:25pm
This aggressive acrylic-based transfer adhesive is specifically designed for superior foam bonding and elevated temperature performance. The 7434-74 is an unsupported adhesive that offers excellent bonding characteristics to a broad spectrum of foam substrates, including challenging products, such ether, ester low perm urethane and melamine foams. Features of the 7434-74 adhesive include an easy-release 74 lb. liner that can be removed, after lamination to fragile low density foams such as melamine, without foam tearing; enhanced die cutting; high peel strength; and high shear resistance. The nominal four-mil transfer tape has an adhesive thickness of 3.75 mils.
