Flexible Adhesive Changes Colors as it Cures
Fri, 08/28/2009 - 12:02pm
The See-Cure 1201-M-SC is a medical grade flexible adhesive designed for rapid bonding of a variety of rigid and flexible plastics. It cures in seconds when exposed to high-intensity UV/visible light, enabling faster processing, greater output, and lower assembly costs. It is bright blue in the uncured state, making it easy to see. Operators or vision inspection systems are able to see the adhesive easily prior to curing in order to easily identify adhesive coverage and placement, resulting in greater efficiency and less scrap. As the adhesive cures, the blue color within the adhesive changes and ultimately turns clear upon full cure. The recommended substrates include PC, PET, PS, PU, PVC, and ABS.
