Nimbus antimicrobial technology has been applied to adhesives for the purpose of combating infection. It is a next generation antimicrobial technology that is non-leaching, non-toxic, long-lasting, and not blocked by organics, such as blood, urine, or perspiration. The joint development is intended to yield effective and affordable barrier protection. The adhesives are 100 microns thick, facilitating flexibility in design for consumer dressings and skin patches.
