The model VJ7X1.5 articulating video borescope features on-board (stand-alone) image processing and battery-powered, portable operation. It has a high-resolution 2.4" TFT LCD screen and high-intensity LED lighting with adjustable brightness control. A thumb-activated joystick provides precise control of the articulating tip up to 90 degrees in every direction. The unit can record and store approximately one hour of video with a 1GB MicroSD card and 500 still images. Weighing only 20 ounces, the VJ borescope uses four AAA batteries, allowing it to run for approximately two hours. The batteries can then be replaced instead of requiring recharging or connection to a power source.
