Vesta Announces Facility Investments, Wins Award

Vesta Inc (Booth 1017), an industry leading contract manufacturer for medical device components and finished device assembly, has announced several significant facility infrastructure investments intended to support its business growth requirements and expand its service offerings.Vesta announces the expansion of its Franklin, WI manufacturing plant, focused exclusively on the manufacturing and assembly services of silicone based medical device components. The expansion will double Vesta’s manufacturing space, and will allow for the introduction of Vesta Innovations, a new service offering designed to support early stage product development for medical device OEM’s. Vesta has also announced the plans to consolidate the operations of its Portage, WI facility into the newly expanded Franklin facility by the end of 2009.Additionally, Frost & Sullivan has awarded Vesta the 2009 North American Plastics in Medical Tubing & Catheters Market Competitive Strategy Leadership of the Year Award in recognition of Vesta’s strategies to increase its customer value and market share.

In its independent research of Vesta’s strategies, Frost & Sullivan acknowledged Vesta’s increased customer value through both its enhanced material platform options. This resulted from the acquisition of ExtruMed in March of 2009, and its proactive investments in facility expansion to support its customer growth requirements for the future.
