Meller Optics, Inc. features a wide variety of odd-sized sapphire windows and substrates with different crystallographic orientations and other hard-to-find optics. Round, square, rectangular, flat- and wedge-shaped windows, lenses, and mirrors, many with critically tight specifications, are available for delivery. They are fabricated from sapphire, BaF2, CaF2, fused- and crystalline-quartz, laser glasses, ZnSe, silicon, and germanium. Suited for designers involved with product development and research laboratories, these parts typically exhibit dimensional tolerances from ±0.001” to ±0.005”, 10 waves to 1/10th wave flatness, and 10-5 to 80-50 scratch-dig.
