IR and Broadband Optics Custom Fabricated From Many MaterialsMeller IR and Broadband Optics can be fabricated to precise customer specifications from zinc selenide and -sulfide, calcium and magnesium fluoride, germanium, silicon, sapphire, and spinel. Available as windows, lenses, mirrors, and prisms, they can incorporate mounting holes, slots, stepped edges, wedges, and various A/R and reflective coatings.

Suitable for use in detector, sensor, and front surface applications, Meller IR and Broadband Optics can feature plano convex, concave, and meniscus configurations with ?/4 and ?/10 surfaces and finishes to 10-5 scratch-dig. Sizes can range from 1/4 to 6 in. O.D. or diagonal with tolerances to ±0.005 in. and thickness to ±0.002 in., depending upon material.

Meller IR and Broadband Optics conform to MIL-PRF-13830 and are priced according to material, configuration, and quantity.
