Stationary Heat Transfer Fluid Systems

Wed, 03/23/2011 - 7:37am
Stationary Heat Transfer Fluid SystemsMokon announced the availability of the HTF ST Series, a line of stationary heat transfer fluid systems up to 600 kW and 650°F (343°C). The HTF ST Series offers superior, energy-efficient performance and reduced space requirements for applications requiring higher heating capacities.

Process heating systems designed to use heat transfer fluids offer numerous advantages over comparable systems that employ steam, including cost savings, lower operating pressures, reduced energy consumption, and safer operation.

Mokon’s HTF ST Series is designed and built to customer specifications, featuring a low-watt density electric heater mounted in a structural steel frame. These systems are completely pre-wired and available in single- and multiple-zone configurations with pumping capacities up to 120 GPM.

Typical HTF ST systems feature:

  • NEMA-rated electrical enclosure
  • Energy-efficient insulated heater manifold
  • Sturdy steel frame
  • Al-welded construction
  • Expansion tank vented to atmosphere
  • Pre-wired control panel with disconnect switch
  • UL 508A labeled electrical sub-panel
  • NFPA 79 electrical safety standards
